Pebble Play Sessions

This website is owned and managed by Pebble Play UK (“Pebble” or “we”).

 

These Terms and Conditions apply to any and all use of this website. This Site is owned and operated by Pebble Play UK. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all these Terms and Conditions, you may not access or register with Pebble and should exit immediately.

We may change these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes to these Terms and Conditions shall be effective immediately following the posting of any such changes on pebbleplayuk.com. Please review these Terms and Conditions regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes made by Pebble Play UK.

 

Unless otherwise noted, all materials, including images, illustrations, designs, icons, photographs, product images, video clips, and written and other materials that appear as part of this Site are owned by Pebble Play.

 

You may not use our website for any unlawful purpose. You may not copy, reproduce, download, broadcast, transmit, publish, store, modify, or otherwise commercially exploit or use any of our website.

 

Service Overview

 

Pebble Play provides personalised child activity services to your home, offering a variety of activities tailored to the interests and developmental needs of children. As well as home activities, Pebble has scheduled events in local areas, providing childcare services to families who wish to join. 

 

Availability & Pricing

Pebble Play sessions are available through online bookings or consultations. In some cases, bookings displayed as available on pebbleplayuk.com may not be available and therefore may need to be rescheduled.

In the event a class is listed at an incorrect price or location due to typographical error or other error, Pebble Play UK shall have the right to refuse or cancel any registrations for enrolment placed for a session listed at the incorrect price. If you have already been charged for the registration and your registration is cancelled, Pebble shall immediately issue a credit to your account in the amount of the incorrect price.

 

Booking and Payment

 

To book Pebble services, clients must provide accurate information about the child, including age, interests and any special requirements. Any allergies or needs have to be disclosed with Pebble to ensure the safety of children.

 

Payment is required in advance to confirm the booking. Pebble accepts payments through various methods, including credit/debit cards, Paypal and Apple Pay.

Pebble reserves the right to cancel any bookings not paid in full.

 

 

Cancellation and Refund Policy

 

Clients may cancel sessions with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled session will incur a cancellation fee.

Refunds will be provided if cancellation are made within the stipulated time frame.

Sessions may be rescheduled within 48 hours of the session at no cost. Pebble is under no obligation to refund sessions that may be missed due to personal or other reasons, although we will do our utmost best to reschedule your session depending on availability.

 

 

Safety and Liability

 

The health and safety of babies, children and parents in our sessions is of paramount importance. We adhere to strict health and safety guidelines and make sure that every aspect of care is delivered to the highest possible standard. We also make sure:

  • An extensive risk assessment is carried out before the start of each session, ensuring that hazards to parents and children are kept to a minimum. This includes but is not limited to, ensuring all resources used are safe and age appropriate for children, the environment is safe and free of any potential harm.  

  • Resources and equipment are cleaned and checked each time they are used and damaged toys and equipment are immediately removed for repair or disposal, as appropriate.

  • Premises - where applicable - are hygienic, following the requirements of the Health and Hygiene Policy.

  • Participating in Pebble Play sessions is entirely at your own risk without any proven negligence, breach of duty of care or lack of due diligence by Pebble Play UK or its employees.

  • Only children registered with Pebble Play are allowed to attend sessions with the permission of a parent or guardian.

  • Pebble Play UK will not be held liable for any incidents, injuries, or damages that occur during or as a result of our activities.

  • All Pebble staff are first aid trained and DBS checked.

Photography and Marketing

 

Occasionally we take photographs and videos during session and use them for marketing purposes e.g. on social media sites and the Pebble Play website. This will only be with parents or guardians prior written consent.

In the occasion of a Pebble session in a local area we encourage parents to take photos of their children but please avoid any photos of other children or people present at the session.

Termination

 

Pebble Play UK may terminate this Agreement at any time, immediately without notice, and accordingly deny you access to the Site, if in Pebble Play’s sole discretion you fail to comply with any term or provision of this Agreement.

By booking or attending any Pebble Play sessions you agree to the terms and conditions stipulated above.

Pebble Events and Entertainment 

Booking and Payment:

​

  • To secure your party booking with Pebble Play, a non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total party cost is required at the time of booking.

  • The remaining balance must be paid 5 days before the scheduled party date.

  • Payments can be made via EFT or direct payment from our website.

Party Details:

​

  • The client must provide accurate details regarding the party location, date, and time at the time of booking.

  • Any changes to these details must be communicated to Pebble Play at least 4 days prior to the scheduled party date.

  • Pebble Play reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking if the provided details are inaccurate or misleading.

  • If the party exceeds the agreed-upon duration, an overtime fee of £50 will be charged for each additional hour.

  • The client will be informed of any potential overtime charges as soon as it becomes apparent that the party may exceed the agreed-upon duration.

  • Pebble Play operates within a designated service area, which currently only include London. If the party location is outside of this service area, an out-of-area fee will be applied.

Cancellation and Refunds:

​

  • Cancellations made 5 days prior to the scheduled party date will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

  • Cancellations made after the final payment is received will not be eligible for a refund.

  • In the event that Pebble Play needs to cancel the party due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided to the client.

Liability:

​

  • Pebble Play will not be held responsible for any injuries, accidents, or damages that occur during the party.

  • Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising the children at all times during the party.

  • Pebble Play will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of the children and the smooth running of the party activities.

Conduct:

​

  • Pebble Play reserves the right to terminate the party if any guest behaves in a disruptive or disrespectful manner.

  • The client is responsible for ensuring that all guests adhere to the rules and guidelines set forth by Pebble Play.

 

Photography and Social Media:

​

  • If permitted by parents and the party host, Pebble Play may take photographs or videos during the party for promotional purposes.

 

Changes to Terms and Conditions:

​

  • Pebble Play reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.

  • Clients will be notified of any changes via email or other communication channels.

By booking a party with Pebble Play, the client agrees to abide by these terms and conditions.

Privacy Policy

Pebble Play UK is committed to complying with the Data Protection Act 1998 and The Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003. By using our website and our services you are consenting to us processing your information in the ways stated here.

 

What information do we collect?

 

Personal Details

 

Information you type into the website when you become a member and create your profile or when booking or visiting one of our sessions. This information may include your personal contact data, address etc. We use this to provide you with the services you request, keep in contact with you and to manage your account. If you contact us by email or via the website we may keep a record of your contact information and enquiry and may subsequently use your contact details to respond to your enquiry.

From time we send out emails to our customers with information about the service you have booked. You can choose to unsubscribe to these emails at any time.

 

Details of your transactions

 

We collect data for any transactions you carry out through our website, so that we can honour your booking and provide you with the services you have requested and purchased. Please note that we never store bank or payment details on our systems.

 

Sensitive data

 

We may collect information about your child’s dietary requirements to ensure our activities are safe and free from any allergens or intolerances your child may have. If you leave your child in our care – we may also ask for details of any health conditions, medical prescriptions and allergies so that we may provide suitable first-aid care, if it should be necessary. We may also record emergency contact details for you and the child’s doctor.

The information on our registration form contains personal data. Pebble play will record, process and keep your personal information secure in accordance with the The General Data Protection Regulation will not be passed/sent out to a third parties.

We may share photographs or videos taken during sessions for marketing purposes with your written consent.
